small weddings have quickly become my absolute favorite thing to shoot...

why? because the whole event is exponentially more relaxed than a big affair. because the couple actually knows the last name of every person in the room. because the handful of people that are there are the ones the couple just couldn't do life without. small weddings are so honest and so very full of love.

maria + adam tied the knot in november, in goldsboro, north carolina. with everything going on in the world they had to make some heavy guest list adjustments and i know it was not easy. planning a wedding is already stressful. add navigating covid restrictions on top of that and you've got a whole other animal. maria + adam pulled off this beautiful day so gracefully with every detail planned and decorated perfectly.

it's clear that these two love each other beyond words and it's equally clear that they've got rock solid support systems. this day was a joy to photograph.

cheers to the ransoms!
